Project Description
In response to COVID-19, the use of telehealth has expanded rapidly exposing skills and capability gaps. In order to deliver effective telehealth services and optimise patient outcomes, employers are seeking flexible ways to upskill workers in parallel to their day jobs so learnings can be applied for immediate impact. La Trobe University and Curtin University in partnership with Obvious Choice and the Health, Education and Training Institute (NSW Health) have shown interest in collaborating to deliver telehealth education via nano-credentialed short courses or micro-learning. The purpose of this internship is to undertake a landscape review of current telehealth courses and liaise with the above partners to develop a proof of concept education pilot.
