Dr Amandeep Hansra
Dr Amandeep Hansra is a practicing GP in Bondi, Sydney, Australia. She is a national expert in telemedicine, with 7 years as Senior Medical Adviser at Medibank Health Solutions. In 2014 she became the founding Chief Medical Officer and CEO of Telstra ReadyCare (first full telemedicine service in Australia) and went on to be the Chief Medical Officer for Telstra Health. Amandeep established a telemedicine service in the Philippines in partnership with leading Swiss telemedicine provider Medgate (and is now chair of the Clinical Advisory Board of Medgate Philippines). Amandeep is the founder of Creative Careers in Medicine (CCIM), a network of nearly 7,000 doctors, with a strong focus on digital health and start-ups. She organised for 60 of these doctors to receive the only health informatics qualifications available in Australia (CHIA through the Australasian Institute of Digital Health). She works as a digital health consultant and has been involved in a number of government health reviews.
Dr David Triska
Dr David Triska is the Clinical Director for Digital First Primary Care at Surrey Heartlands, UK, and has been at the helm of a digital first practice for two years (online asynchronous consulting, phone, video and face-to-face) making him one of the most experienced GP’s in the UK for this modality. David has an interest in novel delivery of healthcare, including remote patient-led care and adaptive long-term condition management. He is currently working at integrated care system level for primary care and engaged in secondary interface work along with widespread deployment of digital first primary care. In clinical practice, David is particularly interested in mental health, complex somatic dispensers and metabolic medicine. When not practicing medicine, he is a bike racer with a penchant for carbon fibre, aerodynamics and the practical application of computational fluid dynamics in racing.
